Christmas Eve Before Church
For Christmas eve we had Robin and Bob(Anne’s brother and his wife) and Bob’s step son Sean over for the holiday. Bob and Muriel hosted at their beautiful home in University Place. When you added the three of us it became quite the gaggle. We all wore our kilts to the Church and we came off quite well.
We went to Manitou Park Church for services—which is the same place that we got married at in 2000.
The festivities started off with all of us hanging out for about an hour and then we had haggis. MMMMMMMMMMMMM. Then we had the obligatory scotch so that we could eat the haggis. Scottish tradition don’t you know. Truth be told I could pass on both the haggis and the Scotch.
We then all retired to the dining room where we had some of Muriel’s fine standing rib roast. It was a fun evening for all. The church service was excellent and Muriel led us all in the starting of prayers. Bob Robin and Shaun went home at 10 or so with promises to be back at 10AM for Christmas celebration.
