Charlotte Observer 07/29/2008 Trade talks failure deals blow to global economy

Trade policy and particularly free trade has been in name only for some time now. While the US has allowed just about anybody to sell products on our shores other countries and in particular China, has refused to abide by any portion of laws.

As a result China recognizes no patents, it counterfeits products on an enormous scale while others look the other way. I wonder $$$$$$$$ why.

I am however glad to see that our trade policy is changing.

Highland games

We went to he highland games in Enumclaw Washington. There were games and fun and events for everyone. Everyone is Scottish at the Highland Games.

Trip to Robert Moses State Park

We just got back from Robert Moses State Park and had a blast. Andrew likes the waves now and ikes to play with toys in the sand.

Taking Time for ourselves

We have been taking time for ourselves since school ended to regroup after a tough year. We are feeling much better now. Somers is a relaxing place where all the cares of the world seem at least a million miles away.

I hope that all of you have been doing the same thing. Spend the summer hanging out with friends family and loved ones.
