We arrived in Seattle last night after some fan fare on our trip out. We left directly after work and arrived in Newark on time. Our flight was delayed by over two hours and we arrived in Seattle close to 2AM. When we arrived at our Avis rental center they told us that they did not have the car that we wanted but we could have a SUV. That seemed fine until we got the car it was a very small SUV based on the dodge sub compact. We couldn’t even get all of our stuff in so we went back to the rental counter.
After some chit chat we got a large car we were promised we went out to the lot and switched all of our stuff out of the small SUV and into the Chrysler 300. After getting everything moved we closed the door and noticed that the car had a flat tire.
Back into the rental office we went. This time they found another car and brought it around for us. Sadly, the car did not have any gas in it so it had to be filled.
Needless to say they gave us the Chrysler 300 Touring on the way out an upgrade and now we will be having a good week in the HEMI powered Chrysler 300. We arrived at the in laws house in University Place at 4AM.
Today we are just hanging out and getting caught up on the happenings.
